Food Allergy Disclaimer
Lunch Lady is committed to providing safe, high-quality meals for children. We understand that food allergies are serious and we take them seriously in our preparation and labeling processes.
Nut-Free Commitment
Lunch Lady tries to operate as a 100% Nut-Free Kitchen.
Lunch Lady does not intentionally use peanuts or tree nuts in any meals or recipes. We do not purchase or add peanuts or tree nuts, including almonds, walnuts, cashews, pecans, pistachios, or hazelnuts, to our menu items.
However, because our meals are prepared in a shared commercial kitchen, we cannot guarantee that the facility is completely nut-free or free from cross-contact. While we take precautions to reduce allergen risks, trace exposure may still be possible through shared equipment, preparation surfaces, storage areas, or ingredients from outside suppliers.
None of our products contain:
-
Peanuts
-

We Our meals are designed to be school safe, which is especially important for Texas schools with strict nut policies.

Cross-contact with allergens such as dairy, gluten, egg, soy, or sesame may occur during ingredient sourcing, preparation, cooking, or packaging.
Because of this, we cannot guarantee that any meal will be completely free of allergens other than peanuts and tree nuts.

Nutrition & CACFP Compliance Statement
At Lunch Lady TX, we are committed to providing balanced, nourishing meals that support the growth and development of young children.
Our menus are thoughtfully designed to align with USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) meal pattern guidelines for children ages 1–12.
Each meal is planned to include:
- A protein or meat alternate
- A whole grain-rich component
- A fresh vegetable
- A fresh fruit
- Milk service when required by the school
Portion sizes are prepared with age-appropriate CACFP serving guidelines in mind to help ensure children receive a complete and balanced meal.
If a selected meal does not include all components required under CACFP meal pattern guidelines, Lunch Lady TX may supplement the meal with additional items such as fruits, vegetables, or grains. These additions are selected to complement the meal and support balanced nutrition.
We also offer vegetarian options and strive to be mindful of common allergens in all menu offerings. All Lunch Lady TX meals are prepared without peanuts or tree nuts as ingredients.
However, meals are prepared in a shared commercial kitchen where common allergens may be present, including dairy, wheat, eggs, soy, shellfish, and nuts. While precautions are taken to minimize cross-contact, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
For children with severe allergies or specific dietary needs, we encourage families to consult with their school and healthcare provider before participating in the program.
